This is a large traditional Swedish beer bottle (growler) dating to the 1950's. It has an original hinged metal and ceramic cap and was handblown in an amber brown glass. It's in good condition with minimal signs of wear and tear. There are no markings on the bottle, but on the porcelain cap it reads: "Bergkallans Bryggeri, Varberg, Klass 1, Tel. 190." Varberg is a town south of Gothenburg in the south of Sweden.
