    Continental US Shipments  Currently we offer delivery to the continental United States.  At this point we cannot ship to Alaska, Hawaii, APO/FPO boxes nor international locations.

    UPS Ground Shipments  Most of our smaller accessories and pieces of furniture are sent via USPS, FedEx or UPS Ground.  It generally takes 2-3 days to pick and pack your item(s) in our warehouse and another 2-3 days for them to reach your home or final destination.  This time will vary based on the time of year, weather conditions and other unusual circumstances.  A tracking number will be posted to your order for reference once the package(s) have left our warehouse.

    White Glove Delivery  Larger pieces of furniture and/or fragile items will be delivered by a transport company who works with this type of delivery.  The item(s) will be picked up in our warehouse, blanket wrapped, delivered to your home or final destination, and carried inside and placed at a location of your choice.  All packaging and/or wrapping will be removed.  An appointment for the final delivery will be scheduled directly with you once the items have reached your local area.

    It can take one to two weeks for the item(s) to be picked up at our warehouse and taken to a central distribution warehouse and another two to four weeks to reach your local area, depending on the distance from our warehouse in Springfield, VA and the final destination within the continental U.S.

    A tracking number will be posted to your order for reference once the item(s) have left our warehouse.

    Local Metropolitan DC Deliveries  We work with Heirloom Express for deliveries to the local Washington DC area.  If you would prefer working with another local delivery company, just have them notify us to coordinate a pick-up date and time.

    Warehouse Pick-up  European Country Living allows customers who want to save some money to pick up their item(s) at our warehouse.  The warehouse will be open every Saturday from 10am to 4pm.  Other pick-up days and times can be arranged by appointment.  Please notify us at least 24 hours in advance so that we can have all items ready.

    Customers must bring enough wrapping materials and manpower (individuals over the age of 18) to load any item(s) into their vehicle;  we do not provide packaging nor staff to load the items.

    Flat Fee  All of our items have a flat fee to cover our time and the cost of wrapping and shipping your purchases.  In some rare cases, European Country Living reserves the right to increase the S&H fee should the final destination be in a very remote location or should there be any other unforeseen difficulties (for example, you live on an island in the middle of a lake with no regular ferry service...a situation which we actually have had in the past).  In such a case,  someone from our staff will call to discuss the additional costs and receive your approval before any charges are made to your credit card.
